Saunière’s second Altar pillar found back in Rennes-les-Bains

The website of Jean-Patrick Pourtal is reporting that the 2nd pillar of Saunière’s Altar has been found back in a corner of the cemetery of Rennes-les-Bains. It had been known for a long time that there was a 2nd, plain version of what is called Saunière’s Visigothic altar pillar and which is at the heart of the mystery of Rennes-le-Château. Jean-Patrick has published some photos that show a remarkable resemblance between the two pillars. If this is indeed the other pillar that once supported the Altar of the church in Rennes-le-Château, it sheds a new light on the relation between Abbé Saunière and his colleague Abbé Henri Boudet in Rennes-les-Bains.

Veteran French photographer and researcher Jean Brunelin has discovered what might well be an entirely new area of research in the mystery of Rennes-le-Château. All over the huge fresco Abbé Saunière had installed in his church of St. Mary Magdalene, he painted miniatures of locations in the area, mystic animals and artefacts. The most recent article examines the 1832 book ‘A voyage to Rennes-les-Bains’ in which historian Labouisse-Rochefort recounts a local story about a treasure near the Château de Blanchefort, guarded by the devil. In the course of these past months, Rachid N. had deposited two Virgins from the 12th century, a head of Christ and a Virgin with the Child from the 16th century, as well as a Romanesque Christ, a crucifix and a panel from a sarcophagus stolen in June 2007 from the Abbey of the Trinity in Fécamp (Seine-Maritime). Perhaps there is therefore still hope for the stolen head of Notre-Dame de Marceille, which is not part of this treasure, as the story queries.

Pascal Guillaumes, founder of the Chronodrome experience, has opened a website and forum to discuss more curiosities about the Opoul-Perillos area than just the Chronodrome. He opens with a detailed discussion of a round indentation in the rock that resembles a tomb. In fact from the photos it is clear that this feature was shown in the illegal copy of the Tellus Film documentary ‘Tombeau du Christ’ that circulated on the internet last year, suggesting it was one of the two tombs, indicated by Saunière on a scale model of the Holy Places he allegedly ordered before his death.

The Rennes-le-Château Research website has posted all 32 clips of the upcoming documentary film ‘Bloodline, the Movie’ in one video player. The project by American Director-Producer duo Bruce Burgess and René Barnett deals with the alleged discoveries of British researcher Ben Hammott, formerly known as The Tombman. It is claimed in that in the tomb Hammott discovered, there’s a very old mummy from the Middle-East, possibly of Mary-Magdalene. Have a look at the clips and judge for yourself.

Cinema Libre Studio has issued a Press Release for the upcoming documentary film Bloodline. It says: An underground tomb found in the Languedoc region of southwest France has been discovered, which may help substantiate the existence of a Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene bloodline, according to the new documentary BLOODLINE, premiering May 9 in New York and May 16 in Los Angeles. The rare find will be further examined at a Monday, May 5 news conference at the Jewish Museum in New York City. The chamber contains a mummified corpse on a rose-colored plinth under a shroud bearing the distinctive red cross of the Knights Templar, and is surrounded by wooden chests, revealing a cache of gold chalices and coins. The discovery has been reported to the French Government agency, Direction Regionale des Affaires Culturelles Languedoc-Roussillon (DRAC-LR), and plans are underway for a full scale survey.

Just weeks into his new post, mayor Alexandre Pianco has already been confronted with the problems that typify the village: a tunnel has been found dug under the cemetery at Rennes. It appears that the tunnel was dug during the night from Thursday to Friday, and is believed to have been made to make a connection to a gallery that runs from the castle to the crypt of the church. The discovery was made by an inhabitant of the village, who noticed that stones were clumsily placed to hide the entrance.
