Painted by Abbé Henri Gasc between 1838 and 1872. He actually made two versions of it, one of them he gave to his good friend, the Abbé of Pieusse, where it is still in the church. (reading “don de Gasq à son très cher Cartuffe, curé de Pieusse, année 1866″ on the back)
